I picked up this project from a guy who didn't have the time to finish it. He had gotten it pretty far from stock, including a professional hardtail kit and the tanks. The motor is an 03, factory 1200cc Harley’s hundred-year anniversary, and came with some upgrades. I have no idea of the mileage on it, but it rips. Other than some oil and a carb clean, I haven't touched the motor. I focused mostly on the styling. I dropped the 10 over forks to about 7 and added a spoked 18” rear wheel for a lighter look in the rear, and added the flanders-style pullback bars. I bent and welded a custom sissybar in a blade-inspired shape that I haven't seen before. I molded a tail light shroud into a manta-ray fender to fit a prism tail light snug with a set screw (Paulo helped with this). I also flared the lip of the shroud to match the fender flare. I cut a custom seat pan using thermo plastic, added a hidden cable pull release latch, then shaped foam on top of that. I patterned and upholstered a new seat from cowhide and broke many needles in the process. Finally, I molded the frame and tins to smooth out all the factory ugliness and painted it all myself. The best detail is from the previous owner, who cut the bottom of a bean can to use as the ignition cover. It says “thick and rich.”
